About Me
Hi, I'm Tessa! I am a future educator and love to help students succeed! When I have some free time, you can find me playing games or reading a nice book. I also have a cat named Bean!
Education
I am currently a full-time student at Southeast Missouri State University. I am studying secondary english education, but I have prior experience with elementary fields. I will be graduating in fall of 2027.
Teaching Experience
I was a cadet teacher my senior year of high school for 3rd grade and 11th grade English. I am currently a Learning Assistant & Supplemental Instruction Leader at SEMO. I have also lived on the education majors' learning community since 2023, currently on my second year as a Mentor for the floor.
Interests
When I am not tutoring or working, I am normally at school or working on school-related things. Other than that, I enjoy gaming and reading. I also love to go on walks and meditate.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
